"The 2019 Barbaresco Albesani is a powerful, classically austere wine

that needs time to emerge. Deceptively medium in body, the 2019

packs a pretty serious punch. Wild cherry, kirsch, mint, white pepper

and cedar give the 2019 striking aromatic top notes. Clean mineral

notes extend the nish nicely. This is quite promising.
