Château Pegau is owned and managed by the iconic winemaker, Laurence Féraud. Located in exceptional terroir, situated less than 4 miles southeast of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Cuvée Lône is named after the small stream that runs next to the 100+ acre estate and is an offshoot of the Rhône River. A classic Côtes du Rhône white that is a reflection of spring in the Rhône Valley.

This is a very old school Beaujolais in the best sense: beautiful garnet color, beguiling aromatics, and a burst of refreshment in the mouth—and that burst is a savory, mineral, toothsome thing because of the domaine’s high elevations and because of Brouilly’s meager volcanic soils. This pretty Gewurztraminer has golden yellow hints. Nice aromatic intensity and exotic fruits. The bouquet is intense and develops rich aromas of exotic fruit (passion, pineapple, litchi), flowers (roses) and spices (pepper, cinnamon). Round and well-balanced with good persistence, finishing on spicy notes.
