Distilled in Sonoma County by 13th generation Master Distiller Marko Karakasevic using an old, slow brandy still imported from Cognac in 1983, Wolves blends aged rye whiskey with whiskeys distilled from craft Stout and California Pale Ale beer — no flavoring added; the "Hop Flavored" designation is simply an TTB requirement because the whiskey was distilled from finished beer rather than a grain mash. Expect honeysuckle, citrus, milk chocolate and black cherry on the nose, with tangerine, dark chocolate, hops and oak on the palate, and a long, warm finish with rising spice.
