Sebastian Vicente helms the purposeful Domaine de Fondrèche, which was founded in 1991. Located in Mont Ventoux, an area famous for the Tour de France, Sebastian continues the estate’s laser focus on preserving the vineyards and land that they own. Their goal has always been to minimize their impact to the environment, and they do so with zero use of herbicides, and an emphasis on using green fertilizers like various plants.

Tasting Notes: Pure and intense perfumed notes open quickly – black raspberries, blackberries, and fresh florals. Luscious fruits are tamed with a touch of smoky minerality with a long finish.

Serve With: Drink with roasted game, grilled meats and cured meats.

"There will be two reds here going forward, the Domaine and the Altineo, with roughly 4,000 cases of the Domaine and 1,000 cases of the Altineo. The Altineo is a tiny selection of the top terroirs and old vines of the estate. Vivid ruby/purple-hued, with remarkable purity in its red and black fruits, pepper, and crushed stone-like aromatics, the 2024 Ventoux Domaine is based on 60% Grenache, 35% Syrah, and 5% Mourvèdre. A medium-bodied, concentrated, elegant red with fine, polished tannins, clean, perfectly integrated acidity, and outstanding length, it's a brilliant 2024 that will clearly be outstanding."
