From Dry Creek Vineyard, founded in 1972 by David Stare—the first new winery in Dry Creek Valley after Prohibition and the first to plant Sauvignon Blanc there—the Sailor's Cuvee Red 2019 carries a long maritime tradition. The label’s sailboat artwork, introduced in 1982, honors Stare’s lifelong love of sailing and has helped cement Sailor’s Cuvee as the unofficial wine for sailors.
