2019 Joseph Drouhin Beaune Greves (750ml)

Grèves takes its name from the gravelly, stone-strewn soil of the vineyard — long considered one of Beaune's finest sites, historically prized since Roman times. Drouhin's 2019 is concentrated and well-structured, with positive tannic power still tightly wound in youth, framed by excellent fruit and a long, spicy, earthy finish. Grown biodynamically, this is a serious, age-worthy Beaune with the depth to reward extended cellaring, though it's already showing real polish.
