"The 2022 Riesling Biebelhausener Feils Grosses Gewächs No. 13 was harvested on what Lauer calls a “warm gravel slope,” well drained and dry, south-facing and overlooking the river. Smoke appears first, followed by creaminess with herbal overtones of lemon balm, balm, and mint evocations. Subtle citrus creeps in while the palate is tender with creaminess. This is texture, stone and aroma accompanied by citrus. Almost emollient, definitely lemony and with the slightest crackle of smoke. Captivating and already open. (Bone-dry)"
