"The 2022 Riesling Birkweiler Kastanienbusch Grosses Gewächs is from

the Permian conglomerations. This is scented and the only GG that

shows more of itself. There is almost a sense of passion fruit with its

fruity yet tart aromatic allure. Riper notions seem to shine through.

The palate is tight, nuanced and more open than its siblings with that

wonderfully aromatic zestiness, yet again with fine, easy flow enabled

by texture. The lemon length is the perfect promise for the future.
