2024 Felluga, Livio - Friulano (750ml)

A benchmark Friulano from Felluga, Livio, one of Friuli's founding estates. Grown on Ponca soils (marl and sandstone), fermented and aged in stainless steel on lees.

On the nose, restrained stone fruit and peach peel mingle with notes of ferns, lemon leaves, flowers, iodine, and minerals.

On the palate, the wine is very silky and smooth, medium-bodied with a touch of leesiness, crisp acidity, and tension through a long, savoury finish.

Classic Friulano character emerges with white flowers, green pea, and citrus notes leaning toward bergamot and kumquat, with hints of sweet almond; the palate is glossy and textural.
