The flagship estate of Count Stephan von Neipperg — certified organic since 2014 — producing some of the most compelling wines in all of Saint-Émilion since the 2015 vintage. One of the most elegant and seamless wines in the 2016 vintage — brilliant minerality alongside cassis, spice box, cedarwood, licorice, and dried earth, with silky tannins, no hard edges, and a great finish that shows the purity and elegance of the vintage to a T. Bright, intensely aromatic, and precise — sweet red cherry, pomegranate, blood orange, and rose petal race through this silky, super-expressive Saint-Émilion; especially polished, refined, and nuanced, less overtly powerful than past vintages.
