2024 Château Graville-Lacoste Blanc - Graves (750ml)
A benchmark dry white Bordeaux from Hervé Dubourdieu, whose meticulous, low-key style has made this one of the go-to whites in the region year after year. Sémillon-led (roughly 60%) and rounded out with Sauvignon Blanc and a touch of Muscadelle, the 2024 is fresh and expressive — honeysuckle, lychee, citrus, and white flowers on the nose, with lemon, green apple, and mineral notes carrying through a lively, refreshing finish. Textural but bright, this is classic Graves Blanc: the richness of Sémillon balanced by Sauvignon's zip. Remarkably versatile at the table, from raw oysters to Southeast Asian and Indian spice. Great QPR and a house go-to for a reason.
