Part of Bob Dylan's Heaven's Door whiskey collection, Revelation Double Barrel blends two straight bourbons with a straight rye, aged a minimum of five years in new American oak before a further 6 to 12 months of secondary maturation in heavily charred, air-dried barrels. That extended double-barrel process deepens the color and draws out rich, dark toasted vanilla character. Expect a nose of maple, vanilla custard, and caramel, moving into a palate of dark cherry and dried apricot, bottled at 100 proof. Each barrel is hand-selected and allocated to a single account, making this a genuinely limited, collector-oriented release, with Dylan's own artwork and welded-gate imagery featured on the bottle.

"Heaven's Door Double Barrel Whiskey is comprised of a unique blend of three different whiskeys - two whiskeys from Tennessee with a traditional bourbon mash bill, and a straight rye whiskey. Each of these whiskeys is aged independently in both new oak and fresh dumped bourbon barrels for at least six years before being married together and aged an additional year in virgin, heavy charred, American oak barrels. Our proprietary finished barrel specification creates robust flavors of toasted hardwood in a dark, amber hued finished whiskey. Heaven's Door Double Barrel Whiskey is maple charcoal mellowed after distillation, also known as the Lincoln County Process, resulting in a smooth finish.
