Metaxa 12 Stars Brandy 700ml

The flagship expression from Greece's most celebrated spirits house, founded by Spyros Metaxa in 1888. A uniquely Greek creation — not quite brandy, not quite liqueur — blending aged Muscat wine distillates from Samos and Lemnos with aged wine spirits and a proprietary blend of Mediterranean botanicals and rose petals, all aged a minimum of 12 years in Limousin oak. Rich amber in the glass with an inviting nose of dried fruit, honey, rose, vanilla, and toasted oak. The palate is smooth and velvety with layers of raisin, fig, orange peel, warm spice, and dark chocolate, finishing long, sweet, and gently warming. Best enjoyed neat or over a large ice cube — though equally compelling in a classic Metaxa Sour. A distinctive and refined after-dinner spirit with genuine Old World character.
