2022 Bouchard Pere & Fils - Beaune Marconnets (750ml)

A historic holding for the house — Bouchard has owned vines in Les Marconnets since 1791, farming 2.32 hectares at the northernmost point of the Beaune appellation, where layers of grey, marly chalk give this Premier Cru its distinctive character, elegance, and bouquet. Hand-harvested and sorted, vatted 7–20 days depending on vintage character, then aged 12–14 months in French oak with 30–40% new barrels. The nose shows ripe fruit aromas with a musky note and a delicate oaky hint. The generous 2022 vintage adds opulence and concentration to the site's characteristic finesse — expect red and dark cherry, earthy minerality, and a structured but supple finish. A wine built for the medium to long term. Drink 2027–2040+.
