Grape 100% Pinot Noir

Classification Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru
Drink 2027–2037

Les Charmes is ideally suited to Hudelot-Noëllat's house style — a premier cru that by name and nature leans toward the floral, silky elegance Chambolle-Musigny is celebrated for, here drawn from a tiny 0.21-hectare parcel of 70-year-old vines. Tasted barrel by Sarah Marsh MW for World of Fine Wine, the 2024 stands out as one of the more compelling wines in a dramatically reduced lineup — Charles van Canneyt harvested on September 18 and produced just 30% of his normal volume across the estate in 2024. The Charmes shows a sophisticated, silky texture rippling across a lightly rounded mid-palate, finishing long and streamlined with the refined, tensioned fruit that defines both the lieu-dit and the domaine. A wine to cellar.

91-94 Points
"Elegant, pure and airy aromas include those of kirsch, the essence of red cherry and rose petal that are trimmed in admirably discreet wood influence. The gorgeously textured medium weight flavors possess slightly better volume on the succulent and mineral-driven finish that just goes on and on. This is also seriously good and very much worth your consideration."
