Les Murgers sits at the northern tip of Nuits-Saint-Georges, right on the border with Vosne-Romanée, and is widely regarded as one of the most "Vosne-like" premier crus in the appellation — possessing more of Vosne's floral hedonism and silky texture than the broader, more muscular character of Nuits further south. Charles Van Canneyt describes it as his most challenging wine to pull off: "The capacity of this Pinot Noir to be strong, muscular but still fit in the very elegant category is just showing me the level of craft to get there." The 2024 is among the rarest Murgers Hudelot-Noëllat has ever produced — a combination of the vintage's general 70% production losses and the replanting of two thirds of the plot after 2022. Dark fruit, Vosne spice, and firm but refined tannins with a long, persistent finish — one of the most compelling limited releases in this exceptional lineup.
