The Jobard family has grown grapes in Meursault since the 1860s, and the domaine is now overseen by fifth-generation vigneron Antoine Jobard, who took the reins from his father François around 2013. Production remains tiny, at roughly 2,000 cases a year from just five hectares, and Antoine has steadily refined a style that favors precision and mineral drive over overt richness, with light oak use and lees aging that skips stirring to preserve tension in the fruit.

This Bourgogne Blanc is fermented in oak barrels and traditionally aged through two winters, though recent vintages have seen that schedule adjusted for earlier, warmer harvests. The approach favors restraint, letting the Chardonnay's natural citrus energy come through rather than layering on obvious wood character, a hallmark of the domaine's increasingly focused house style.

The wine offers pear, citrus oil, toasted nuts, and a faint flinty edge. The palate is medium to full bodied, with vibrant acidity, ripe yellow fruit, and a lingering saline finish that gives it real definition for a regional appellation. Pair it with grilled shrimp, poached sole, or a nutty aged cheese.
