Rémi Jobard is the son of Charles Jobard and nephew of François Jobard, two of Meursault's most celebrated winemakers, and he took full control of the family domaine in 1996. He pushed the estate toward organic farming almost immediately, earning certification in 2011, and has built a reputation for wines of exceptional clarity, shaped by careful vineyard work and a hands-off approach once the grapes reach the cellar.

This regional Bourgogne Blanc draws on fruit from Puligny-Montrachet and the Côte Chalonnaise, sourced rather than estate-grown, and is vinified with the same care Jobard gives his Meursault bottlings. The wine is aged in Stockinger barrels, an Austrian coopered oak known for imparting structure without heaviness, which gives this everyday cuvée an unusually elegant backbone.

The wine is fresh and saline, with white peach and citrus carrying through to a chalky finish. It shows a lovely lift and an airy feel, rich enough to satisfy but never heavy. This is Bourgogne Blanc with real Meursault-level polish. Serve it with grilled sole, roast chicken, or a light pasta with lemon.
