Vincent Dancer took over his family's vines in Chassagne-Montrachet in 1996, at the end of his oenology training, and built the small domaine into one of the region's most quietly respected estates, becoming the first certified organic producer in the village in 2012. His son, Théo, returned to work alongside him in 2016 and took over the domaine fully in 2021, continuing his father's hands-off philosophy of minimal intervention, native yeast fermentation, and restrained use of new oak.

This Bourgogne Blanc is sourced from two parcels outside the domaine's home village, one in Meursault and the other in Puligny-Montrachet, planted on soils that share the same limestone character found in the estate's more prestigious appellations. As with the rest of the range, the wine is fermented and aged with little new wood, left unfined and unfiltered, and given time rather than technique to find its balance, sometimes finishing fermentation nearly a year after harvest.

The wine pours a pale gold that fades toward the rim, with a nose of citrus and orchard fruit framed by a subtle mineral edge. The palate shows real intensity and texture for a regional-level wine, with bright acidity and a clean, precise finish that reflects the domaine's reputation for purity.
