This white Pineau des Charentes is made using the Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche and Colombard grape varieties, combining the lightly fermented grape must with Cognac eau-de-vie before being aged for a minimum of five years to be given the classification ‘Vieux Pineau’. This expression shows the true Hardy style, fine and subtle in aroma - offering a perfect balance between freshness and roundness. Hardy Pineau Blanc Le Coq d'Or boasts a golden colour and complex palate, making it an intense, elegant, full pineau - perfect both before and after dinner. 

Eye: Brilliant antique gold. 

Nose: Hints of honey and dried fruits mingle with springtime florals.

Palate: Full rounded palate. Rich and fruity - golden raisins, quince, spices, honey-soaked bran, and persimmon.
