Graham's was founded in 1820 by brothers William and John Graham, Scottish merchants who built the house into one of the most celebrated names in Port, producing legendary vintages including the 1927, 1935, 1945, and 1970. In 1970 ownership passed from the founding family to the Symington family, who had already been producing Port since 1882 and could trace their involvement in the trade back even further, to 1652. Today Graham's draws on four historic mountain estates in the Upper Douro and Douro Superior, led by Quinta dos Malvedos, farmed under organic and sustainable practices across more than 200 hectares of vineyard.

This Tawny represents Master Blender Charles Symington's pursuit of the ideal balance between youthful vibrancy and the complexity that comes only with age. The wine is a careful blend of many vintages, aged in seasoned oak casks for an average of two decades, a process that slowly transforms the color from deep ruby to a warm amber and develops the layered, nutty character that defines the finest aged Tawnies. Graham's craftsmen oversee this maturation using traditions passed down through generations, including specialized skills in blending, cooperage, and cellar aging.

The wine shows a deep amber, golden tawny color, with an inviting bouquet of toasted almonds and orange peel folded into rich, mature fruit. On the palate it is generous and smooth, offering red and black cherry compote alongside hazelnut, date, and warm baking spice, finishing long and beautifully balanced. It pairs wonderfully with vanilla ice cream, crème brûlée, or simply sipped chilled on its own.

93 Points
"Plump and inviting, with a burst of red and black cherry compote backed by hazelnut husk, date, green fig and baking spice notes. Generous in feel, but with the underlying zip for balance and focus. Drink now. 15,000 cases made, 4,800 cases imported."
