The flagship prestige rosé from one of Champagne's most beloved family houses, named for co-founder Elisabeth Salmon and produced only in exceptional vintages since 1988. Released after an extraordinary 110 months on the lees, sourced from 85% Grand Cru and 15% Premier Cru vineyards — most notably the house's own Valofroy plot in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, where Pinot Noir vines up to 80 years old contribute the wine's gorgeous color, richness, and power. Luminous copper-salmon in the glass; the nose offers cloves, spiced apples, raspberries, gingerbread, and pastry with delicious yeasty and spicy undertones. Excellent density and focus on the palate with fine, firm bubbles — simultaneously light on its feet and fresh, finishing long, chalky, and salty. Dosage 3.8 g/L. One of the greatest rosé Champagnes of the decade.

97+ Points
"A blend of 45% Pinot Noir and 55% Chardonnay, the 2012 Brut Rosé Cuvée Elisabeth Salmon is a real success, wafting from the glass with aromas of red berries, rose, peony, orange blood and dried flowers. Medium to full-bodied, vinous and broad, it's dense and deep with a multidimensional core of fruit, racy acids and a textural structure, concluding with a long, delicate, mouthwatering finish. This is one of the finest rosé I've tasted at this address. Kudos!"
