2015 Moet & Chandon - Champagne Brut Dom Perignon (750ml)
A vintage shaped by intense summer heat and drought, followed by timely rains in August that revived the vines just before harvest — resulting in a Champagne of remarkable richness, precision, and energy. Disgorged January 2023 after 8 years on lees. The nose unfolds with eucalyptus, mint, and vetiver alongside mirabelle plums, apricot, and orange blossom, lifted by pepper, cardamom, and licorice with silvery saline and toasty hues. Medium to full-bodied, layered, and structured on the palate — enveloping and round with a delicate phenolic mid-palate that underlines chalky dry extracts, concluding with a sapid, penetrating finish with gastronomic bitterness. More opulent and immediately generous than the austere 2013, yet with the structure to reward patience.
