The estate

Located in the heart of the Pauillac appellation on the left bank of Bordeaux, the Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste produces one of the most representative wines of the appellation. Lacoste-Borie is the second wine of the estate.

The vineyard

The Grand-Puy-Lacoste vineyard spans 90 hectares of vines on deep gravelly hills within the Pauillac appellation. 58 hectares are even planted in one piece. The vines that produce Lacoste-Borie are younger than those of the First Wine of Grand-Puy-Lacoste but are cultivated with the same care.

Blend

This Lacoste-Borie 2018 is the result of a blend of cabernet sauvignon (61%), merlot (31%), cabernet franc (8%).
