Domaine Albert Mann traces its roots to the union of two storied Alsatian winegrowing families, the Manns, cultivating vines since the early seventeenth century, and the Barthelmés, established in Wettolsheim since 1654. Brothers Maurice and Jacky Barthelmé built the modern estate into one of Alsace's most respected biodynamic producers, pioneering the practice in 1997 and achieving organic certification by 2000. The domaine now farms twenty-five hectares across seven Grand Crus, with Jacky's son Antoine recently stepping in to lead the next generation.

This cuvée blends Pinot Auxerrois and Pinot Blanc from estate vines averaging over thirty years old, grown on marl-limestone soils and tended under strict biodynamic practices with deliberately low yields. Farming stays hands-on throughout the season, and the grapes are vinified without oak to preserve their natural fruit and freshness.

The wine shows a pale straw color with green highlights, opening to aromas of ripe cantaloupe, yellow pear, quince, and white nectarine, lifted by a whisper of chervil and tarragon. The palate is juicy and generous, balancing fruit, acidity, and minerality through a long, refreshing finish. It pairs beautifully with flammekueche, herb-buttered grilled fish, goat cheese, or a seafood platter.
