Denis Bachelet sources this from two old-vine parcels — Pressonier and Grand Champs — right on the edge of Gevrey-Chambertin, hand-harvested and fermented with native yeasts for a level of concentration rarely seen at this level. The 2023 is fleshy and juicy, with rich cherry, wild berry, and licorice aromas, a succulent medium-bodied palate, and a clean, mineral finish.
