2023 Sylvain Pataille - Marsannay (750ml) [PRE ARRIVAL]

Sylvain Pataille built his domaine from a single hectare in 1999 into one of Burgundy's most admired addresses — and in doing so, helped restore Marsannay's reputation as a serious Côte de Nuits appellation. Biodynamically farmed, minimally interventionist, and deeply terroir-focused.

The village Marsannay rouge is a blend of parcels across the appellation, offering the most approachable entry into Pataille's style. The 2023 is fine and precise on the nose — morello cherry, fresh strawberry, a faint menthol lift — with a generous, pure palate framed by fine, supple tannins, bright acidity, and an elegant mineral thread. Notes of red fruits, forest floor, and a hint of anise carry through to a juicy, tender finish
