2025 St. Cosme - Cotes du Rhone (750ml)

Not your average Côtes du Rhône. Saint Cosme is the benchmark estate of Gigondas, in the Barruol family since 1490, and Louis Barruol has made it one of the Rhône’s most respected names since taking over in 1992. This bottling is 100% Syrah from the stony Villafranchian terraces of the Gard, where limestone sand, red clay and round pebbles give the fruit real freshness and intensity.

Partially destemmed, fermented with native yeasts and raised in concrete, it’s all purity and pep: plum, black cherry and violets with classic Syrah spice, black pepper and a touch of licorice. Juicy, medium-bodied and seriously drinkable. A go-to for burgers, BBQ, roast pork or a weeknight pizza.
