Hendrick's Oasium comes from Hendrick's Gin, distilled in Scotland under the direction of master distiller Lesley Gracie, part of William Grant & Sons. Oasium marks the sixth release in Hendrick's ongoing Cabinet of Curiosities series, a line of limited-edition expressions built around Gracie's personal travels and flights of imagination. This edition draws its inspiration from a visit to a desert oasis, reportedly following a game of camel polo, where lush pockets of aromatic herbs and vibrant fruit amid arid surroundings sparked the idea for the gin.

Oasium is built on Hendrick's familiar foundation of rose and cucumber, produced through the brand's signature dual-still process that combines spirit from a Carter-Head still with spirit from a Bennett still. Onto that base, the distillery layers desert-inspired botanicals, with cactus, desert lime, and prickly pear cited among the ingredients, alongside traditional juniper. As with other entries in the Cabinet of Curiosities, Hendrick's keeps its exact recipe closely guarded, describing the additions simply as aromatic herbs and bright fruits.

The aroma offers a lively mix of delicate florals and ripe fruit alongside a fresh, herbal quality reminiscent of greenery found in a desert hideaway. On the palate, bright citrus zest and juniper interplay with sweet floral notes and a subtle earthy undertone. The finish is long, smooth, and layered, closing on lingering herbal complexity with a gentle wash of fruity sweetness.
