Five Farms is produced in County Cork, Ireland, home to both a centuries-old whiskey-distilling tradition and some of the country's richest dairy pastures. Launched as the first farm-to-table Irish cream on the market, the brand sources its dairy cream weekly from five specific family-owned farms in the county, blending it with whiskey within 48 hours of collection to preserve freshness. Only months after its 2018 release, it won the Chairman's Trophy at the Ultimate Spirits Challenge with the highest score ever given to an Irish cream liqueur in that competition.

What sets Five Farms apart is its whiskey content: the finished liqueur contains roughly ten times the amount of triple-distilled Irish whiskey found in most competing Irish creams, giving it a noticeably fuller spirit backbone. The cream itself carries a higher butterfat content than is typical for the category, contributing to its notably rich, velvety texture. Each batch is produced in small runs rather than through continuous large-scale blending, a method intended to keep quality and consistency tight from batch to batch. The finished liqueur comes in at 17% ABV.

The nose opens with butterscotch, caramel fondue, and vanilla bean. On the palate, fresh cream and dulce de leche build into coffee-like depth, joined by coconut, maple, and a touch of bittersweet chocolate, before finishing long and warm with a clean whiskey note. It's best served chilled, straight up, or poured over ice cream in place of dessert.

"An inviting nose of butterscotch, caramel fondue, and vanilla bean jumps from the glass. The lush palate coats the mouth with flavors of coffee with fresh cream, dulce de leche, coconut, maple, and Belgian waffles. An intensely satisfying after dinner sipper in place of dessert"
