Grown on an ancient seabed of coastal sand and white limestone, the 2024 Arianna Occhipinti Sicilia Rosso DOC showcases a careful modern revival of Sicily’s native Frappato variety. Sourced from forty-year-old bush vines positioned at roughly 280 meters elevation, the grapes come from biodynamically tended blocks just inland of Vittoria. Producer Arianna Occhipinti, trained under the celebrated COS estate lineage, farms these historical sites to pull out bright minerality rather than heavy concentration.

Fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel and rested to integrate structure without thickness, the 2024 vintage presents a clear, brilliant ruby appearance. Sweet cherry and wild raspberry anchor the nose alongside delicate violet florals and light peppery spice.
