Cantine Lunae Bosoni was founded by Paolo Bosoni in the Colli di Luni district, a hilly stretch of eastern Liguria that straddles the border with Tuscany near the town of Castelnuovo Magra. Since planting his first vines there over five decades ago, Bosoni built the estate's reputation on Vermentino, the white grape most closely associated with the region, and the winery remains a family operation devoted to showcasing local varieties through both wine and grappa production.

This grappa is a steam-distilled pomace brandy made from carefully selected Vermentino marc, the skins and seeds left behind after the grapes are pressed for wine. The pomace comes from vineyards in the municipalities of Luni and Castelnuovo Magra. Following distillation, the spirit rests in steel tanks rather than wood, a choice that keeps the profile clean and prevents any color or oak influence from masking the grape's natural character. It is bottled at 42% alcohol by volume.

Bright and clear in the glass, this grappa offers an elegant, floral nose layered with green apple, pear, and gooseberry. The palate is soft and well structured, finishing long with a return of delicate baked apple notes that echo the aromatic profile established up front.

"Obtained from a careful selection of the best Vermentino marc. Crystal clear, transparent. Intense aroma, rich in floral notes and delicately harmonious. Fresh, with great persistence and hints of rennet apples, emerge in the finale."
