Founded in 1897 in Ronchi di Percoto, in Italy's Friuli region, Nonino Distillatori has spent well over a century as a family-run grappa house. In 1973 the Nonino family pioneered the single varietal grappa, or Monovitigno, distilling the pomace of Picolit grapes when the practice barely existed, and the innovation transformed grappa's reputation from a rustic byproduct into a refined spirit worthy of attention. Today the estate remains in family hands, still guided by the same commitment to preserving each grape's individual character.

Il Moscato is made entirely from Moscato pomace, selected, destalked, and pressed while still fresh and soft after fermentation. The pomace is distilled immediately in traditional copper steam stills using a discontinuous method with head and tail cutting, a technique that isolates the purest heart of the distillate and preserves the grape's delicate aromatics. The finished spirit is bottled clear and unaged, without any added color or sugar, at 82 proof.

Elegant and softly sensual, this grappa opens with a perfume of rose petals, thyme, and vanilla. The palate turns rich and honeyed, with citrus zest and a touch of sultana sweetness carrying through to a long, floral finish.
