Cruz de Fuego Cirial is a rare, artisanal mezcal from Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca, crafted by Maestra Mezcalera Margarita Blas and her son Carlos Mendez from 100% Agave karwinskii.

This rare semi-wild agave produces a balanced, nuanced flavor profile. Tasting notes span from delicate, bold fruits and dried herbs to bitter cocoa, pepper heat, and deep earthy smoke. It is traditionally produced using earthen-oven roasting, stone tahona milling, wood-vat fermentation, and double distillation in copper pot stills.
