Tequila Ocho launched in 2008 as a partnership between third-generation tequilero Carlos Camarena and international tequila ambassador Tomas Estes. The brand pioneered a terroir-driven approach to agave spirits, becoming the first to bottle tequila from single, hyper-specific plots of land and to label each release with its harvest year and exact field, much like a vintage wine. Every expression is made from just three ingredients: agave, water, and natural airborne yeast.

This reposado is made from 100% Blue Weber agave grown on Camarena family estates in Arandas, Jalisco. After traditional distillation, the spirit rests for exactly eight weeks and eight days, the minimum period required for the reposado category, in ex-American whiskey barrels previously used across several vintages of Ocho tequila. That brief, deliberate resting window is meant to round and soften the spirit without letting the wood overshadow the pure, sweet character of the cooked agave.

The nose shows zesty green agave, mint, vanilla, and orange blossom. On the palate the tequila moves through light caramel and cooked agave into bruleed grapefruit, white pepper, and milk chocolate, finishing rich yet dry with lingering baking spice and tannin.
