From Saar vineyards — the coolest, most austere sub-region of the Mosel — where slate soils and a northern exposure produce Rieslings of razor-sharp acidity and piercing minerality. Spontaneously fermented in a mix of stainless steel and old Mosel Fuder, this is a classic Kabinett: lime, white peach, a hint of sassafras, and a long, cooling, stony finish. Featherweight in body, laser-focused in flavor. One of Germany's great overachievers at the price.
