Sourced from the high-altitude vineyards of the Langhe hills, the 2025 G.D. Vajra Rosabella translates Barolo-zone tannic architecture into a crisp, dry rosé engineered for immediate refreshment.

Vajra selects Nebbiolo alongside Barbera and Dolcetto from organically managed parcels across Barolo, La Morra, Novello, and Serralunga d’Alba. Nebbiolo is extracted via saignée bleeding, while the supporting reds receive limited maceration before pressing. Fermentation runs cool in temperature-controlled stainless steel without malolactic conversion, and the batch is settled and bottled annually in January to anchor its primary fruit and crisp pH.

The rosé pours a translucent peach-pink and lifts complex aromatics of orange blossom, blood orange, strawberry, and rose petals straight from the glass. Tracking dry and light-bodied on the palate, it balances tart apple intensity with fine-grained white pepper and concludes with a clean, saline mineral backbone.

Suggested pairings:
Its lively acidity and stony finish make it a direct companion for vitello tonnato, herb-roasted poultry, shellfish, or layered antipasti served as an aperitivo.
Vintage: 2025
Region: Piemonte
Country: Italy
Bottle Size: 750ml
Producer: Vajra, G.D.
