2025 Marenco - Brachetto d'Acqui DOCG Pineto (750ml)

Made by the three Marenco sisters from a single, organically and sustainably farmed vineyard in Strevi, this Brachetto is one of the most well-regarded expressions of a grape with roots stretching back to Roman times, legend holds it was Cleopatra's seduction wine of choice. Only granted DOCG status in 1996, production is limited to 18 communes around Acqui Terme. Made entirely from Brachetto, lightly sparkling and delicately sweet, expect a bright ruby-red color with elegant aromas of rose petal, wild strawberry, and raspberry, carrying through to a harmonious, semi-sweet palate. A light, low-alcohol charmer built for aperitivo hour, dessert, or simply a bowl of ripe summer strawberries.
