Isole e Olena is one of Chianti Classico's most celebrated and beloved producers, an estate in the hills between Barberino Val d'Elsa and San Donato in Poggio that has long been regarded as a benchmark for everything the denomination can achieve at its finest. Under the long stewardship of the brilliant Paolo De Marchi, the estate has produced generation after generation of Sangiovese of exceptional purity, elegance, and longevity. The 2021 vintage continues that proud tradition, earning 93 points from the Wine Advocate in recognition of a wine of classic Chianti Classico character — vibrant red cherry, dried violet, iron-tinged earth, and a firm, food-friendly structure that is the unmistakable signature of great Tuscan Sangiovese.
