2022 Clos Mogador -Priorat (750ml)

Founded by René Barbier, one of the "Gang of Five" credited with reviving Priorat in the 1980s and putting the region back on the international map, Clos Mogador remains the estate's flagship, single-vineyard bottling. A blend led by Garnacha and Cariñena, with a small and steadily diminishing amount of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon as the estate leans further into native varieties, grown on the region's distinctive black volcanic slate soils, llicorella. Expect a full-bodied, concentrated wine with dark berry fruit, toasty oak, and the region's signature power balanced by real elegance and precision. A genuine benchmark bottling from one of the producers who defined modern Priorat, built for long-term cellaring.
