Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey is the partnership of husband and wife Pierre-Yves Colin and Caroline Morey, two families steeped in Burgundian winemaking tradition. Pierre-Yves, the eldest son of Marc Colin, worked at his father's domaine until 2005 before establishing his own house from inherited family vineyards. Today PYCM sources fruit from parcels across Saint-Aubin, Puligny, Meursault, Corton, and his home commune of Chassagne, earning a hard-won reputation for pure, precise Chardonnay.

This village Saint-Aubin blanc blends fruit from four different lieux-dits, including the domaine's largest single parcel, just over a hectare at the top of the valley above the village. The wine is fermented and raised without bâtonnage, relying on natural yeasts alone, and bottled unfined and unfiltered to preserve a pure, transparent sense of the appellation's terroir.

The wine shows orchard fruit and orange blossom, with hints of white tea, citrus, and a touch of butter. Medium-bodied and concentrated, it has bright acidity and a persistent, mineral-laced finish. It pairs nicely with pan-seared halibut, roast chicken, or a soft triple-cream cheese, letting its natural freshness shine.

90-92 Points
"The 2022 Saint-Aubin Village blends four different lieux-dits in the appellation. This has a well-defined bouquet with orchard fruit, hints of orange blossom and white tea. The palate is medium-bodied with impressive concentration. Very good weight for..."
