Domaine Bruno Colin was created in 2004 when Michel Colin-Deléger divided his estate between his two sons, Bruno and Philippe, following his retirement the previous year. Bruno, a fourth-generation vigneron trained in Beaune, now farms 8.55 hectares organically across Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin, Santenay, and Dezize-lès-Maranges, including eight premier crus in his home village, adjusting pruning and canopy work each season to let each site's character show through.

Morgeot is the largest premier cru in the entire Côte d'Or, spanning fifty-eight hectares and twenty-one distinct lieux-dits on clay-limestone soils. Bruno's parcel comes from vines planted in 1963, giving it a depth and concentration that sets it apart within this sprawling, variable climat. As with the rest of the domaine's whites, the wine is crafted with precision and a deliberate mineral tension rather than overt richness.

The bouquet is discreet at first, gradually revealing a strong mineral character typical of Morgeot. The palate is powerful and round, with real breadth and freshness that carries into a long, persistent finish. Pair it with chicken in cream sauce, grilled monkfish, or a firm cooked-curd cheese.
