Domaine Arlaud is a family estate based in Morey-Saint-Denis, with holdings that stretch across some of the Côte de Nuits' most storied ground. Cyprien Arlaud, the third generation to run the property, began farming biodynamically in 1997 and achieved full certification in 2014, working the vines with a horse-drawn plow to spare the soil unnecessary compaction. That philosophy of minimal intervention extends into the cellar, where Cyprien aims for wines that stay transparent to their site rather than showing the winemaker's hand.

This village-level Chambolle-Musigny is drawn from four parcels on the commune's northern slopes: Les Buissières, Les Herbues, Les Chardannes, and Les Gammaires. Farming here is certified biodynamic, and the resulting wine reflects the lighter, more perfumed character typical of northern Chambolle, distinct from the denser style found closer to Musigny itself.

The nose offers pure red fruit, cherry and raspberry, with floral lift and a gentle dusting of spice. The palate is silky and refreshingly clear, with fine, well-integrated tannins that suggest both early charm and real aging potential. Pair it with duck confit, roast squab, or a soft cow's milk cheese.
