Domaine Servin traces its history in Chablis to 1654, with more than seven generations of winemakers, ploughmen and coopers behind the family name. Today the thirty-hectare estate is directed by François Servin alongside his Australian-born winemaker, Mark Cameron, who have worked to bring the property's considerable holdings, including four grand crus, back to the forefront of the appellation while honoring its long tradition.

This village Chablis is sourced from younger vines, this year drawn largely from the Fleys side of the appellation. Servin was among the first estates to begin picking in 2023, starting on September 8, and the fruit is handled with the same attention to freshness that runs through the domaine's grand cru bottlings. The wine is vinified mainly in stainless steel to preserve its clean, fragrant character.

The wine has a fragrant, floral bouquet with a lightly milky, chalky character typical of classic Chablis. The palate is remarkably balanced, with a firm mineral texture and a clean finish. It drinks well young but has the structure to age gracefully. Serve it with escargots in garlic butter, poached fish in cream sauce, or roast poultry.
