Tua Rita's flagship Bordeaux blend and the wine that put the Suvereto estate on the map, first released in 1992. Named for Suvereto's patron saint (Giusto) and the winery's exact location (Notri). The 2023 is 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Merlot, hand-harvested and matured 18 months in French barriques. A cool, rain-tempered growing season preserved fresh acidity, giving this vintage a more refined, lifted character than Tua Rita's typically bigger, more extracted style. Deep, shimmering ruby red with dark plum, wild blackberry, cinnamon, chalk, and sandalwood, backed by silky tannins and real structure. One of the estate's most celebrated bottlings, and the 2023 is drawing some of its best reviews in years.

"With a history spanning more than 30 vintages, the Tua Rita 2023 Giusto di Notri is composed predominantly of Cabernet Sauvignon with smaller portions of Cabernet Franc and Merlot and remains one of the estate’s defining wines. The 2023 vintage benefited from relatively cool soils thanks to rain showers that preserved fresh acidity. The style emphasizes verticality and finesse, achieved through an infusion-like approach during fermentation in which berries are gently broken to increase skin contact without aggressive extraction, taking advantage of naturally soft skins. Pump-overs were limited to one or two per day, prioritizing delicacy over power. The result is a refined and expressive wine with lifted freshness and a graceful character."
