Domaine Hudelot-Noëllat was founded in 1962 by Alain Hudelot in the heart of Chambolle-Musigny, growing significantly in the following decade through vineyards brought into the estate by his wife, Odile Noëllat. The domaine is now run by Alain's grandson, Charles van Canneyt, who has kept the property among the Côte de Nuits' most respected addresses. Its ten hectares include an enviable run of Grand Cru holdings, among them Clos de Vougeot, Romanée-Saint-Vivant, and Richebourg, alongside prized Premier Cru parcels in Chambolle and Vosne-Romanée.

This village-level Chambolle-Musigny is assembled from eleven separate parcels scattered across the appellation, a deliberate choice meant to capture the village's character as a whole rather than any single climat. Vines across the domaine average forty to sixty years old, and the wine follows traditional Burgundian aging in barrel, a method the estate has relied on since Alain Hudelot's earliest vintages to build structure without overwhelming the fruit.

The 2024 offers gently pressed red fruit and an immediate floral lift, with raspberry and wild strawberry meeting rose petal, mint, and a whisper of licorice. The palate is elegant and juicy, medium-bodied with fine, melting tannins and a graceful, seamless flow. Serve with grilled lamb, charcuterie, or aged Mimolette.
