Meursault has been prized for the quality of its white wines since the Middle Ages, first cultivated by monks and later refined by generations of local winegrowers. Granted appellation status in 1937, the village today spans more than 400 hectares between Volnay and Puligny-Montrachet, encompassing around twenty Premier Cru climats alongside a handful of exceptional village-level sites. Les Narvaux is counted among the finest of these, a lieu-dit perched just above the Premier Crus of Genevrières and Poruzots, on a slope with excellent exposure and soil that shifts between rocky and moderately deep.

Domaine Albert Morot brings its organic farming practices from Beaune to this small Meursault holding, producing a Chardonnay defined by breadth and finesse. The wine finishes with a distinctive saline quality that has become something of a signature for wines from this corner of the Côte de Beaune, complemented by aromas of white flowers and a subtle almond character typical of the Narvaux terroir. Structured enough to reward a few years in the cellar, it also drinks well with some age.

This Meursault pairs naturally with fine fish in sauce such as turbot or sole, scallops, or Bresse poultry finished with cream.
