2024 Chateau Petit Guiraud - Sauternes HALF BOTTLE (375ml)

The second wine of Château Guiraud, a Premier Cru Classé estate farming 128 hectares in the heart of Sauternes since 1766, and the first Premier Cru Classé in Bordeaux to earn organic certification back in 2011. A blend of 72% Sauvignon Blanc and 28% Sémillon, hand-harvested at peak ripeness once affected by noble rot, then aged 12 months in oak before bottling. From a genuinely opulent 2024 vintage, expect complex aromas of apricot and tropical fruit, toffee, and spice, well-balanced with medium acidity and a delicious, approachable sweetness. A great entry point into serious Sauternes at a fraction of the Grand Vin's price.
