Domaine Chanson was founded in Beaune in 1750 and takes its name from Alexis Chanson, a 19th-century partner of the founding family. Its wines age in the Bastion de l'Oratoire, a medieval fortification in the Beaune ramparts. The Bollinger family bought the estate in 1999, and a gravity-flow winery built in Savigny-lès-Beaune in 2010 allows individual plots to be vinified separately.

Les Teurons is a 3.8-hectare parcel at the center of the Beaune Premier Cru slope, facing south-east on clay, limestone, and sand. The sand brings freshness and aromatic lift, while the clay and limestone add structure and generosity. The 2024 season began with a mild winter and early bud break, with a few spring frosts, and Chanson picked from September 11 to 21. It was also the first vintage certified organic for the estate's Côte de Beaune vineyards. The 100% Pinot Noir was aged for 20 months and bottled at 13 percent alcohol.

Bright ruby in the glass, it shows dark berries and cherry mingled with spice and delicate floral nuances, with a hint of vanilla. The palate is brisk, complex, and deep, with a tight texture. A long, spicy finish carries a deeper, more structured edge, pointing to strong aging potential.
