2024 Marc Colin - Bourgogne Blanc (750ml) (PRE ARRIVAL)

Marc Colin founded his domaine in 1970 in the village of Saint-Aubin, building it from vineyards he and his wife, Michèle, inherited. Their eldest son, Pierre-Yves, ran the winemaking for a time before departing in 2005 to establish his own label, Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey. Today the estate is led by three of the Colin children: Damien oversees winemaking and cellar aging, Joseph tends the vineyards, and Caroline manages sales, together continuing the family's focus on the Côte de Beaune's white wine terroirs.

This Bourgogne Blanc is assembled from several parcels planted on the same finely pitched, well-exposed hillsides as the domaine's more prestigious bottlings, drawing fruit from small holdings in and around Saint-Aubin, Chassagne-Montrachet, and Puligny-Montrachet. The vines are farmed with a sustainable, largely organic approach, hand-harvested, and fermented with native yeasts, giving even this entry-level cuvée a link to the same clay-limestone soils that define the estate's grander crus.

The wine shows a pale gold color with aromas of green apple and citrus, underscored by a light chalky minerality. The palate is fresh and lively, with crisp acidity and a clean, stony finish that offers real precision for a wine at this level.
